Dominican Republic- day1 download

The day started very early for our team. We met at 2:30 am to travel to DFW for a 5:45 am flight into Miami, where we caught a connecting flight to Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. We are now in Juan Dolio resting in the mission house.
The Lord continues to amaze me with all that He continue to do and the doors that He continues to open here in the DR.
Our ministry partners Julio and Mercy are simply amazing. They have hearts captivated by the gospel and the call to reach and serve the "least of these".
As I have shared before, we have started a ministry called chickenchurch.org for the purpose of meeting the physical and spiritual needs of the people here. We also have a strategic partnership with 25project.org in an effort to change the lives of children through a sponsorship program.
Tonight, our students spent time in worship, and preparing for our backyard Bible clubs in the morning. We also had time to start cutting the lumber needed to build more chicken coops in the batays (villages) that we currently have projects in
