Sunday Reflections

This weekend was awesome for the life of Gateway Fellowship. We held our 1st Father/ Son Retreat at Mathew's Retreat Center in Lone Oak, Texas and had a blast. It was awesome to see Dad's spending time with their boys. It was great to see Dads, who have only girls at home, bring their nephews with them for the retreat. It was awesome to see men represent Dad for other students whose dad's are not around. We spend time fishing, playing horseshoes, cooking meals and just hanging out with one another. O, I failed to mention the awesomeness of paying whiffle ball with the little ones inside the meeting room. I am not sure there there is anything better than seeing a kids face light up when he hits a ball for the first time~ priceless! We had an awesome time this weekend and are already thinning about other ways to get our Men together for events such as this.

Sunday morning was really great. I really enjoyed the worship. I really enjoyed preaching yesterday morning. I really felt some freedom in what the Lord had for us. You might want to ask someone if it was any good?
* I love our Church
* I love our people
* I love our team
* I love that He is not done with us
* I love that He is working in and through us
* I love the fact that we will have people "doing life together" in their Connect Groups this week
* I love that He continues to stretch us
* I love that He is faithful
* I love that our church will take some risks to meet people where they are
* I love what He has put in us and the direction we are headed
